Diversity – One of Our Greatest Resources
Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 06:27PM The diversity of plant and animal life on Earth is truly astounding.
This is perhaps especially noticeable when you live, as I do, in the tropics.
Diversity is one of greatest natural resources.
Natural resources that are to be appreciated, not exploited.
So too, the diversity of humans, of human cultures is one of our greatest resources.
The challenges that face us in achieving a global sustainable future are enormous.
We will need all our diversity to generate the creative solutions that help us find the new directions of action toward a sustainable future.
